Born and raised in the Bay Area, I moved to New York City as a teenager. I spent 13 years studying, working, and finding the path that eventually led me back to California.
After receiving my B.S. in Marketing & Management from NYU Stern School of Business, I went on to work in fashion PR for Comme des Garcons. After several years, I left to pursue my Masters in Industrial Design at Pratt Institute, where I was able to devote more time to what has always made me happiest - working with my hands. After Pratt, I was a textile designer at Ralph Lauren Home, until a twist of fate led me to move back to San Francisco, when I opened Beacon Coffee & Pantry with my cousin. Together, we designed every element of the shop - the space, the identity, and the experience. Until recently, you could almost always find me behind the bar at Beacon. However, since having a baby, I've chosen to focus on my personal and freelance projects.
Creating, designing, and using my hands will always be my passion.
